ALL ABOUT THE BUZZZZINESS...
My name is Jonathon Parris, I am a graphics designer living in Toronto, Ontario with experience producing artwork for graphics and website designs. I work with WP and develop programming using JAVA, CSS, HTML and some PHP. I have earned a diploma in Graphic Design from George Brown College and am a motivated Graphics Artist. My best achievements include custom web design in WordPress. A foundation in art gives me the experience to produce artwork myself and is supported by my education in Graphic Design.
I can't make art and not know how to apply it to the real world... was my thinking entering collage as an artist. The Arts Foundations program started by teaching me the fundamentals of Graphic Design. I learned how to use Adobe Applications and how to translate between my artwork digital applications. Adopting strategy oriented processes for artwork production in advertising was my target. I know how to produce artwork. But for what reason? Education in graphics production for advertising or website design was repetitive and engaging enough for my to develop my own strategies.
Leaving school and entering Graphic Design as a beginner never really happened for me. I collaborate on extra curricular work from school and work with friends. It's harder to gain working experience but I have a lot of wiggle room to accommodate my creativity and requests from my employer or clients.

The following demonstration includes web graphics application and is programmed using JQuery. Images in the composition are created using Adobe Creative Suite. All graphics are formatted for my purposes. Having a good process for creating graphics for print and web support the resulting work. JQuery and Javascript are used to apply graphics to the desired orientation. Music was created in GarageBand to stand-in for published music and is demonstration of a working audio player.

I have spent some time creating this website so it demonstrates my work coding in JQuery and JAVA. Mostly I would like to suggest websites can be very creative or simple, it doesn’t matter if the design fits its purposes and functions the way it needs to.
The internet is my favourite place to create interactive artworks. My websites start from scratch but I can jump into edits to existing sites as well. I use WP as a platform for creating content that flows properly throughout the site, it ads the advantage of database access which is better than hardcoding everything.
Most websites don’t require all the bells and whistles. Sometimes I’m sure how to approach my own website. I have a set of requirements for my demonstrations that have to be met. Preloading content, animation, navigation and creative presentation on the web is my buzz.
